The highest-grossing Filipino film"Rewind," co-produced by Star Cinema, APT Entertainment, and Agosto Dos Pictures, topped the film category as Movie of the Year, alongside its lead actress Marian Rivera taking home the Movie Actress of the Year, and director Mae Cruz Alviar as the Movie Director of the Year. Kapamilya star Janella Salvador also made her presence felt as Movie Supporting Actress of the Year for her portrayal in the co-Metro Manila Film Festival entry"Mallari.

Another Kapamilya tandem made waves in the afternoon TV scene as KDLex's KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad were each recognized for their performances in"Pira-Pirasong Paraiso," respectively winning Afternoon TV Actor and Actress of the Year.
