Taylor Swift will be bringing her Eras World Tour to Edinburgh next week at Murrayfield Stadium with fans counting down the days until the iconic Love Story hitmaker touches down in Scotland.
The US singer, who hails from the small village of West Reading in Pennsylvania, explained to the audience that her father, Scott Kingsley Swift, had emailed her ahead of the show to inform her of her family's Scottish roots. Neither claim has been proven but both connect the royal lines to Swift through her father's side of the family.
Taylor and Calvin were branded as the industry's biggest "power couple" at the time of their relationship, overtaking Beyoncé and Jay-Z as the highest-earning romantic duo in the music industry in 2015.Swift famously sent fans into a frenzy with a Instagram snap of her and Calvin on July 4 with the caption: “Friendly relations between Scotland and America.”
