Actress Lori Loughlin and Husband Mossimo Giannulli Plead Not Guilty in College-Admissions Case

Actress Lori Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, have pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and launder money in connection with the college-admissions cheating scandal.

The couple were among 33 parents ensnared in a federal investigation that led to charges last month. Prosecutors allege Ms. Loughlin and Mr. Giannulli paid $500,000 to bribe officials and secure spots for their two daughters at the University of Southern California.

The ONLY reason this story lingers is Lori still looks beautiful, especially for her age, and her image is sensationalized. If Kathy Bates or Roseanne Barr were caught buying entrance spots for their kids, this would be yesterday's news weeks ago. But Lori is good looking.

Must not be any lawyers on this thread (I am not). In my little no knowledge of the system, they plead not guilty and now begin the process of a plea agreement. No way she tries to beat these charges IMO. My guess is that the size of her payment resulted in indictment vs Huffman
