Mom of late ‘General Hospital’ actor reveals he shielded co-worker before being fatally shot

They explained that Wactor was leaving his second job at a downtown bar later than he usually did with a co-worker.“Johnny thought that he was being towed,” Wactor’s mother, Scarlett Wactor, recalled. “He said, ‘Hey man, you’re towing my car.’ And when the person looked up, they had on a mask. And Johnny stepped in front of the co-worker, and he was shot.”, he was shot while trying to stop three men from stealing his car’s catalytic converter around 3 a.m.

Within the release, the LAPD described all three men as wearing dark clothing and driving a dark-colored sedan. Anyone with information should contact the LAPD. To Scarlett Wactor, after she found out the whole story of how her son tragically passed over a car part, she deduced that “this person is evil.”
