Brief First Impressions Of 'Destiny 2: The Final S News

Prismatic,Bungie,Dread

I’ve been writing about video games, television and movies for Forbes for over 10 years, and you may have seen my reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. I cover all manner of console and PC games, but if it’s about looting or shooting, I’m definitely there. If I’m watching something, it’s usually science fiction, horror or superheroic.

. That joined a longer, in-person event I was unable to attend, but I instead got a solid look at a mission, a strike, some weapons and elaborate uses of the Prismatic subclass. Here is what I saw, and what I thought about it.

Rather, the new enemies are the Dread, which have interesting variations like swarming, screeching bats with guns that require more aiming than usual to take down as they flutter around, but the most dangerous enemy I saw was a the Strand-based Dread that can actually pull you forward in combat, and at one point, I saw him ring-out kill the player just doing that alone. The mission itself did not do all that much to stand out to me, though pieces and context was cut out of it.
