Johnny Wactor, who is best known for his role as Brando Corbin in “General Hospital,” was shot and killed during a suspected theft attempt of a catalytic converter in downtown L.A. on Saturday morning. He was 37.
He was shot while trying to stop three men from stealing his car’s catalytic converter around 3 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Wactor was pronounced dead at an area hospital, Wactor portrayed Brando, the son of Gladys Corbin who was married to drug addict Sasha Corbin , in the ABC soap opera from 2020-22. He appeared in more than 160 episodes, according to Variety.
Wactor made his television debut in the Lifetime drama series “Army Wives,” in which he appeared in a variety of guest roles between 2007 and 2009.
