A new season of BBC sitcom Not Going Out will air in 2025 and Lee Mack admitted working on the show is still a 'dream come true' 18 years after it was first broadcast

The 1% Club presenter Lee Mack is over the moon as his BBC sitcom 'Not Going Out' is set to return for a fabulous 14th season in 2025, and he can't help but express his gratitude for the show's longevity.

He shared his excitement, saying: "Once again I'm very grateful that the BBC have trusted in us to keep alive the studio sitcom." Jon Petrie, the BBC's Director of Comedy, couldn't hide his admiration for the show, stating: "'Not Going Out' remains one of the UK's most cherished sitcoms, a true testament to the exceptional comedic talents of Lee and his team."

Meanwhile, Jon Thoday from Avalon, who serves as Executive Producer, expressed his delight at the BBC's commitment to the studio sitcom format and praised Lee Mack's mastery of comedy.
