While some celebrities got in trouble with the authorities, others found themselves helping them! Local singer Joanne Fu recently shared how she ended up helping flight attendants and the police catch a thief aboard her flight to Macau.
The public figure shared the experience through a recent post on her Instagram account. According to Joanne, she was on a flight to Macau when another passenger realised they were missing about RMB19,600 in cash upon landing. To investigate the case, the flight attendants needed to make an announcement asking the passengers, particularly the Chinese-speaking crowd, to remain seated. Unfortunately, none of the attendants spoke the language.
The artist revealed that someone found another stack of cash in the plane, but in Indonesian Rupiah notes, proving there was a theft aboard. Thankfully, the authorities quickly narrowed down a suspect, and the other passengers could disembark the plane. According to the flight attendants, such theft cases are common, especially on flights to Macau, so Joanne advised her followers to be vigilant if they are heading to the region.
Many netizens have reacted to Joanne’s story, commending her for her assistance on the matter. Some also said it must’ve been thrilling for Joanne to make the announcement, adding that she must’ve felt she was part of the flight crew. In her post, the vocalist also admitted that the experience did fulfil her childhood dream of being a flight attendant.Source: Instagram
