A bride-to-be has been left in tears after her makeup artist cancelled on her but refused to give her a full deposit back over a “ridiculous” refund policy. The woman, who is getting married in August, shared the details of the situation on Facebook in the hope of finding a new makeup artist for her bridal party. “I just want to cry. My makeup artist has completely cancelled on me, and she is refusing to refund me 100 per cent of my money it being her fault completely,” the bride said.
The makeup artist said: “I did, I offered to give her a partial refund as well as a bunch of recommendations for other artists with her date available that could be of assistance to her.” Another commenter questioned this and said: “I’m confused as to why she didn’t get 100 per cent of her refund if you cancelled her?” The makeup artist said it was just how “she ran her business”, which she said was the same way “a ton of other makeup artists and business owners” did.
