Rudy Giuliani declared bankruptcy in December after being ordered to pay two Georgia election workers $148 million.

A committee representing creditors owed money by Rudy Giuliani has announced its intention to subpoena billionaire businessman John Catsimatidis over his financial relationship with the former New York City mayor.On May 10, Giuliani was suspended by WABC Radio, a conservative-leaning talk radio station owned by Catsimatidis, after Donald Trump's former lawyer continued making discredited claims questioning the validity of Joe Biden's 2020 presidential election victory.

On May 20, the Official Committee Of Unsecured Creditors, a coalition of Giuliani's creditors, including the Georgia election workers, Dunphy, and Dominion, announced their notice to serve a subpoena against Catsimatidis in a filing with the Southern District of New York's bankruptcy court.
