Rock star Jon Bon Jovi is rumored to be a candidate to replace pop princess Katy Perry as a judge on 'American Idol.'

Bon Jovi performed on the season finale of the popular reality TV singing competition Sunday night, which marked Perry's last evening as a judge. His appearance on the show fueled speculation that, adding that he possesses all the qualities necessary to command the stage and captivate TV audiences.

I think this probably will be my last show -- my last season -- for Idol. I mean, I love Idol so much," Perry previous told talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. "It's connected me with, like, the heart of America, but I feel like I need to go out and feel that pulse to my own beat, you what I'm saying, Jimmy?”
