Woolworths has confirmed a major change to its popular Direct To Boot service in 190 stores across Australia. The supermarket giant has launched Direct to Boot Now, which allows customers to place and order online and pick it up within 60 minutes. The new service is available for a flat fee of just $5 when customers place an order of $50 or more. Since Direct to Boot launched in 2021, the service has seen a growth of 130 per cent, with more than 250,000 orders placed every week.
“Our Direct to Boot service has already proven popular with our customers, particularly with young families who are looking for a fast and convenient way to do their weekly grocery shop,” Woolworths Director of eCommerce Chris Jones said. “Over 20 per cent of all of our Direct to Boot orders are currently being placed for pick up during the busy school run hours of 8-9am or 3-5pm.
