Matildas captain Sam Kerr’s court case has taken another twist. The case has again been delayed after two other previous delays. The Australian football star and her high-profile barrister Grace Forbes were meant to appear at Kingston Crown Court on Monday for a preliminary hearing. But it has now come to light that the hearing was “no longer needed”.

Monday’s hearing is no longer needed.” The date for Kerr’s hearing has now blown out and is pencilled in for February 3, 2025. It is expected to go across four days. Kerr is still recovering from her knee injury and will sadly miss out on this year’s Olympics. She ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament in January and in March Roger Kerr said his daughter was “definitely” out of the running for the Paris Games .
