The show has been a fixture in the Hyndburn calendar for 155 years

The 155th annual Great Harwood Agricultural Show will include competitive classes for dogs, pygmy goats, sheep, cattle, rabbits, light and heavy horses, Shires and Shetlands, working hunters and show jumping. The event will take place on Monday, May 27.

All-day displays will be placed in the main arena and many demonstrations around the showground, including the ‘Knights of the North’ Les Amis Stunt Team Jousting Show, Scotland’s premier equestrian stunt team, flying birds of prey, the tricks of the miniature British Spotted Ponies, hedge laying, sheep shearing, bonsai, dog agility and more than 100 vintage and classic vehicles, including 25 Morris Minors, vintage buses, and for the first time, in the main ring there will be a display of 14...

There will be food from around the world, lots of produce, public bars, specialist bars, local trade and charity stands and our popular Artisan Avenue with more than 70 diverse craft stands. The charities organisers are supporting this year are the North West Air Ambulance and Hounds for Heroes. There is a free car park, accessible from Church Lane, and it will be clearly signed from all directions. Entry on the gate, cash or card: Under 5s free, children aged 5-16 £6, adults £10, over 65s £8, family tickets £25.
