There was pandemonium in the rooms after the Sydney Swans’ stunning 52-point victory over Carlton on Friday night. The SCG was packed as the Swans put flag fancy Carlton to the sword, and mayhem followed as the team celebrated.

Alexander Volkanovski joins Sydney Swans for team song. It is a long-held AFL tradition for players to link arms and sing the club song after a victory but, before the Sydney players did that on Friday, they waited for a special guest to join them in their sacred space. The players were visibly excited as Australian UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski quickly entered the circle and linked up with veterans Jake Lloyd and Dane Rampe.
