Former Springbok Breyton Paulse opened up about his experience on 'Masked Singer SA' in an exclusive interview with 'The South African'.

None of the celebrity detectives – J’Something, Somizi Mhlongo, Sithelo Shozi and Skhumba Hlophe were able to crack the case of Monster’s identity. While guest detective, Kurt Darren, who was the season one runner-up, initially thought Monster was Paulse, he later changed his guess to Kwagga Smith. Paulse expressed that he had lots of fun on the set of was loads of fun and an interesting experience.

I loved my Monster costume and it interesting to hear who the detectives thought Monster was – especially when they got it so wrong. I don’t see myself as a singer, so I was also surprised that I got the opportunity to sing twice and wasn’t sent home in the first episode. Of the two songs I performed, Joanna by Eddy Grant was my favourite performance.Well, it wasn’t easy.
