Geoffrey Rush defamation case: actor set to win millions from News Corp

News Corp has been ordered to pay more than $850,000 – with the prospect of millions more – to Geoffrey Rush after a court found Sydney’s Daily Telegraph defamed him by alleging he “engaged in inappropriate behaviour” during a theatre production of King Lear.

If this is real authentic news and the accusation was untrue, then I am absolutely thrilled to hear this, given Geoffrey is not only a bloody awesome actor but he’s a great aussie bloke from the beautiful state of Queensland. 🇦🇺

So he's not a gross creepy rapist... or?
