Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh bringing concert buzz to Calgary

WATCH ABOVE: There is major concert buzz in Calgary and it’s not over Taylor Swift. One of the world’s biggest Punjabi stars will be at the Saddledome Wednesday night. As Ina Sidhu reports, fans are excited for the sold-out show.Diljit Dosanjh made history last month kicking off his “Dil-Luminati” tour at BC Place in Vancouver in front of more than 50,000 fans, making it the largest Punjabi concert outside of India.“The concert was amazing. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” said Gaba.

“Actually, that brings recognition,’ he said. “Earlier I don’t remember if any turban-wearing artist has been seen on any stage of such a level.” “I benefited from going to the U.K. because in the U.K. there was definitely more of an appetite for that sort of thing,” Raghav said.
