Both stars have landed major parts after leaving ITV soap Emmerdale

Two axed Emmerdale actors are currently filming scenes in a major new film which stars a Hollywood great.

As we’ve previously reported, Katherine was shocked by her Emmerdale exit. Speaking to the Soap From The Box podcast, Katherine has discussed her exit and how the landscape has changed in soapland. “I was taken aback. I said ‘well you don't know what to do with me anyway, do you?’. I tried to get out of the building, sat in my car and burst into tears because it was a shock.”
