Anya Taylor-Joy may have missed the 2024 Met Gala, but she’s still delivering a high-fashion spectacle.The actor presumably missed last night’s event due to press tour obligations for her new Mad Max prequel film, Furiosa. Instead of arriving at the Met, she stepped out at the St. Regis Hotel in Mexico City, where she embodied the essence of her warrior character in two extremely cool outfits.First, Taylor-Joy wore a silver minidress made out of metal, a custom Balmain piece.
She let the dress do most of the talking, accessorizing simply with clear strappy heels and a bright red lip.In behind-the-scenes footage shared to Instagram yesterday, the Furiosa star revealed that she quite literally had to be clasped into the one-of-a-kind dress, with her team clipping the two halves of the dress into place while she stood in the center.Later in the day, Taylor-Joy changed into a second outfit.
