The King returned to public duty last week as he continues treatment for cancerKing Charles is feeling 'very good' as he returns to Royal duties following his cancer treatment, Penny Mordaunt revealed tonight.
She told GB News: 'I think people won't be surprised to know that he's completely charming and always calm. The Commons leader spoke fondly of Charles today as she helped mark the first anniversary of the King and Queen's coronation 'I think everyone is really pleased to see him back and I know that he wants to do more, so it's been a good week.'
The King also attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show in jubilant scenes as he hugged his niece Zara Tindall, with whom he is incredibly close. Charles's diary of forthcoming events will not be a full summer programme, and attendance will be announced nearer the time and 'subject to doctors' advice', with 'adaptations made where necessary to minimise risk' to the King's recovery.WEDNESDAY - Charles and Camilla are shown the Coronation Roll at Buckingham Palace
