American singer Katy Perry has taken to social media to call out AI-generated images which featured the pop star at this year’s Met Gala and left fans scratching their heads.

Perry was depicted in a glamorous ivory ball gown embroidered with flowers and moss, fitting this year’s “Garden of Time” theme, in one of the viral images, viewed more than nine million times on X.However, social media users were stunned to discover the image was actually AI-generated and Perry was not in attendance this year, opting to skip the star-studded event with her partner Orlando Bloom.
