Oscar-winning filmmaker Neil Jordan is to direct a feature based on one of his own novels for the first time.
Oscar winner Jeremy Irons, Oscar nominee Helena Bonham Carter and Aidan Quinn are attached to star in the film, which is currently in pre-production and is expected to start shooting later in 2024.Jordan said: “I am thrilled to be working with Bankside for the first time. The Well of Saint Nobody follows William, a famous concert pianist who retires to a rectory in West Cork. There, he hires a local woman as as a housekeeper, Tara, whom he has met three times yet forgotten all about her. While he remembers nothing of their previous meetings, she remembers everything.
