Westlife singer Nicky toasted to his wife Georgina's birthday with champagne on Saturday evening as the couple enjoyed a date night to mark the special occasion

Nicky Byrne and Georgina Ahern were all smiles this weekend as the Westlife star toasted to his wife's birthday.

They cut a casual figure with Nicky looking relaxed in a green hoodie while Georgina opted for a stylish frill top with denim jeans."Happy birthday G," Nicky simply captioned the post."Happy birthday Georgina. Gorgeous picture," Shane Filan's wife Gillian added.Nicky and Georgina first met when they were teenagers and married in August 2003.

Opening up about life on the road, bandmate Shane recently told Ireland AM: "It was very first time playing American gigs. We toured it during Paddy's week. We did New York, Chicago, Boston, and a few shows in Toronto. Meanwhile, Mark Feehily has been forced to step back from performing with Nicky, Shane and Kian Egan following a number of health issues, including time spent in ICU, over the past couple of years.
