The actor is the headline guest for this weekend’s event

The event's headline line guest has been enjoying himself in the city over the weekend, with former Lord of the Rings co-stars. He was spotted having a meal in Liverpool restaurant New Capital, on Nelson Street last night, having previously enjoyed a night on Smithdown Road.

She told the ECHO: “We told him ‘Welcome to Liverpool’, and he said ‘thanks for having me!’” Fans have been stunned at meeting the Hollywood superstar over the weekend. Cara, 25, said it was “absolutely mad” meeting him. She added: “I’ve never met anybody that famous before. He was just so nice.”
