By the time series five debuted, the cop drama got cringey with its psychosexual themes

Grey coat, red tie. Artfully furrowed brow. A gruff, East End voice, administering exclamations of doubt and fury. John Luther is a detective, but he is also a deeply troubled man with a brilliant mind, whom creator Neil Cross has described as having “some of the Sherlock Holmes about him”.

Oh who cares. British cop shows are all variations on the theme of Midsomer Murders.

in my opinion, season 5 lacked any substance or thrill , even the otherwise brilliant Elba looked all over the place !

Get lost it was BRILLIANT, creepy and the acting was amazing..... Nothing to read here apart from someone being paid to give their single view!
