RTE Late Late Show end date confirmed as Patrick Kielty wraps up first season

Patrick Kielty is nearing the end of his first season hosting the iconic chat show after taking over from Ryan Tubridy last May.

The 52-year-old has interviewed a wide range of national and international stars over the last few months, as well as fronting the Late Late Toy Show for the first time in November, and the iconic Country Music Special before Christmas. On last week's episode, he spoke to Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood, former rugby star Brian O’Driscoll, organ recipient Michaela Morley, who spoke about the importance of organ donation, and BBC Radio DJ Annie Mac.A source in RTE told RSVP Live: "This was an incredible first series of The Late Late Show for Patrick Kielty. There was huge fanfare over his appointment as presenter and he had big shoes to fill after taking over from Ryan Tubridy.
