Yesterday , it was reported that national football player Akhyar Rashid was attacked and robbed while he was out and about in Kuala Terengganu. According to reports, it was believed that he was beaten with a baton by an unknown individual.
The 25-year-old was then rushed to the nearest hospital where he was also accompanied by his girlfriend actress Eyka Farhana. As seen in photos and videos that's been circulating on social media, the athlete sustained injuries on his head and left foot which led many to speculate that this may be a targeted attack.
As seen in the screenshots below, fans believed that there may be crazed fanatics who wanted to sabotage the next big football match by injuring one of the Terengganu Football Club's players. Many found it suspicious how the athlete had lived peacefully in Johor when he was playing for the team but was then suddenly attacked in Terengganu after being appointed as the new striker.
