Calls have come to elevate cricket great Ricky Ponting to chief selector of the men’s Australian teams. Many fans were left scratching their heads again on Wednesday after Australia confirmed its Twenty20 World Cup squad.

Ponting gives Angkrish Raghuvanshi some post-match tips. That squad included veteran David Warner but controversially left out emerging batting sensation Jake Fraser-McGurk. Both players play for in Ponting’s Indian Premier League team the Delhi Capitals. Fraser-McGurk has been in stunning form in the IPL and Ponting recently raised eyebrows when he dropped Warner from his team.
