A popular brand of instant noodles has been urgently recalled amid fears it could cause illness in some consumers. HenKing Foods Pty Ltd has pulled its Mr Lees Noodles Coconut Chicken Laksa from shelves due to the presence of an undeclared allergen . Food Standards Australia says the buy has been available for sale online nationally, in vending machines in ACT and NSW and at Harris Farm and independent grocery stores in NSW and QLD.
Only products with a best before date of June 14, 2024 have been affected by the recall. Customers have been urged to take the following steps with the recalled item. “Any consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” Food Standards Australia said in a new alert. “Consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product. “Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
