Remember the iPod and, ahem, the Zune? Well Cambridge-based Majority does, and so has come up with its MP3 Go player that harkens back to the days before smartphones and the like. It's a tiny device that does feel a little plasticky but that does mean it's super light and fantastically portable.
The controls are simple to navigate and the little LCD screen to the front is bright enough to make things straightforward. There are separate buttons for volume, as well as a lock to stop unintentional inputs. Battery life - as you would expect from such a simple device - is easily going to last you a few days of normal listening on a full charge.
The audio quality is top-notch, as you would expect from Majority, and you can select songs by artist, album or genre, while also creating your on on-the-fly playlists.
