The controversy began when Ladipoe posted a tweet hinting at a decline in the careers of Afro beats artistes. He wrote, “Nigerian rappers that survived ‘hip hop is dead’ watching Afrobeat artists go through their own.”In response, Wizkid dismissed any possibility of engaging with artistes signed to ‘an influencer’ — a subtle jab at Don Jazzy, under whose label Ladipoe operates.This subtle jab at Don Jazzy has since sparked a flurry of reactions and speculations within the music industry and among fans alike.Now, no one can say he’s not a clout chaser too.He has shown he’s human too and it’s expected.
