The second Comic Con Cape Town officially kicked off on Saturday, 27 April at the Cape Town International Convention Center 2 , where attendees were exposed to all facets of pop culture.

With over 200 stalls and a fully packed schedule for the entire duration of Comic Con, from 27 April until 1 May, there was something for everyone, as the event consisted of two floors.Over 30 000 to 40 000 people are expected to attend the entire duration of the event, according to Carol Weaving, managing director.
