Local Action-Thriller Movie 'Sheriff' Makes RM6.4 MILLION in Just 2 Days After its Release

Local production can be just as good as foreign films. It doesn’t have to be a comic book movie as long as the plot intrigues the audience and keeps them at the edge of their seats with the twists and turns.

The general review of the movie has been overwhelmingly positive so far, with audiences dubbing the director, Syafiq Yusoff the “King of plot twists”. In 2022, Mat Kilau made over RM97 million in 40 days, and in 2023, Polis Evo 3 made RM54 million over an RM6 million budget. Will Sheriff surpass Polis Evo 3 and Mat Kilau in box office sales?
