New Rising Sun, which produces the annual Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival, unveiled plans to turn what was the Bed, Bath, & Beyond store in downtown Seattle into a new music and arts venue."There are a lot more creative people doing a lot more interesting and creative things than they find in their daily life," said Lundgren.
New Rising Sun secured a five-year lease for the space and hopes the project is a jolt to revitalize the downtown core.
