In 2011 hundreds of people joined a parade that made it's way from Forest Recreation Ground to the Old Market Squarein all sorts of ways, with people travelling across the county to spend the day in the city centre, watching the parade and other entertainment in Old Market Square. Although there will not be a parade this year, theto take place was in 2022, as last year the parade was cancelled due to rising costs and this year there have been no parades announced.
