Christine McGuiness, Scott Thomas and his niece Scarlett were among those out and about

A host of reality stars were showing off their musical talents in Manchester city centre on Saturday . A seven-metre piano was rolled out on the floor of the Arndale Centre, accompanied by a baby grand piano for stars and members of the public to play tunes on.

The excitement was in aid of the second season of Channel 4 musical reality show The Piano. The BAFTA-nominated series, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, returns for another instalment next week, on Sunday April 28.During today's musical fun, Christine teamed up with Scott and David to have a go on the seven-metre piano. Jorgie and Molly also tackled the big keys, while Molly also revealed her talents on the grand piano.

The big piano is installed in Exchange Court in Manchester Arndale until tomorrow, Sunday April 21. The award-winning Channel 4 series captured the nation’s heart when it first debuted in 2023.
