When first announced, it seemed most likely that The Mandalorian & Grogu was replacing season 4 entirely. However, Star Wars has yet to confirm that, which seems especially notable given the comments that season 4 was already written.
The Rangers of the New Republic ActionAdventureDrama Star Wars: The Rangers of the New Republic was an action show set in the continuity of the Mandolorian that would have followed Gina Carano's Cara Dune leading a new group of fighters to carry out missions to push back the slowly resurfacing empire. Following several script-related issues and controversies, the series was canceled before entering full production.
