Halsey In 2015, rumours were rife that Matty and 'Without Me' singer Halsey were dating after she was spotted at one of The 1975's gigs. That same year, Halsey collaborated with Matty's band on their track Ghost, further fuelling the speculation.Halsey stated in 2016 that they were "not friends" with the 'It's Not Living' singer and subsequently accused The 1975 of "fake activism" in a since deleted tweet in 2018.
They continued, adding that Taylor "couldn't wait" to reunite with the British singer and both were "massively proud and excited" for what the future held. Inside sources revealed that Taylor and Matty's romance blossomed after Matty's mum Denise Welch was seen cozying up to Taylor backstage at a gig earlier this year.
