Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has shared a fresh message to another of her former colleagues amid her exit. The actress hasn't been seen on the ITV soap for months after her character Lauren Bolton suddenly disappeared.
Since then she's been nowhere to be found. It was her new friend and love interest Bobby who discovered she'd gone but wasn't taken too seriously when he filed a missing persons report. And it was Roy, played by David Neilson, who quickly became DS Swain's prime suspect after he emerged as the last person to see her alive before he misguidedly deep-cleaned Lauren’s flat in a bid to help his friend Evelyn Plummer who was sub-letting the precinct flat. He has since been charged with Lauren's murder and refused bail as the police investigation continues.
Alongside a snap of her profile, they wrote: “Has Lauren officially left? The actress's Insta bio,” along with a confused face emoji. In Cait’s Instagram bio, it now reads “previous Lauren in @coronationstreet.” However, this hasn't been announced by Corrie with plans for the storyline to run through to the summer.
