The new movie, which is a reimagining of the Universal classic Dracula's Daughter, follows a group of kidnappers who spend the night in a secluded mansion with their victim, who turns out to be a bloodthirsty vampire.
Rotten Tomatoes has aggregated an initial critic score out of 22 reviews for the movie just a few days ahead of the official Abigail release. While this score will fluctuate as more reviews are added, at the time of writing it is a solidly Fresh 82%. This continues a string of Fresh scores for the directing duo, who haven't earned a Rotten score on the platform since their 2014 found footage movie Devil's Due, which earned 19%.
