The annual event will take place Sunday April 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum will have live music, dances, bilingual kids’ activities and more. Visitors will have an opportunity to see the Have a Seat: Mexican Chair Design Today and The Skeletal World of José Guadalupe Posada. Children's Day is one of the most popular celebrations in the world. It's aimed at honoring little ones and reminding the community that their rights must be defended. is customary on this day to give away toys and carry out activities in schools or at gatherings and festivals.
The tradition of celebrating Children's Day in other countries arose in 1959, when the U.N. General Assembly held a meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, in which it reaffirmed the rights of children universally.Additional programming will also occur at other participating Golden Triangle Creative District cultural organizations, including:History Colorado Center.
