Amy Dowden has shared her hopes of returning to Strictly Come Dancing later this year after being forced to miss the most recent series following a breast cancer diagnosis. In February, Amy, 33, revealed that her latest health check showed there was "no evidence of disease" however she won't get the all-clear for five years.
"The goal and the dream is to be back on the dancefloor, as well. Cause I've missed it so, so much." She also added: "I'm working really, really hard and getting my body back with rehab and physio. Got a brilliant team, so fingers crossed I'll be back on your screens dancing later this year." "But I'm not going to lie, I've come an hour early by mistake for my blood test at the hospital so I thought, do you know what, I'm going to come on and say hello to you all."
