Bungie flat-out told the playerbase they thought it was impossible, but as ever, the Destiny 2 community proved them wrong. Well, at least appears to have.
Reportedly, Destiny 2 player Xeneris has beaten Legend Onslaught solo, something he posted a screenshot of online, but a claim seemingly backed up by API data. The run was on Hunter and took 90 minutes exactly. I am continuing to look into the exact circumstances of this, but I’ll update with more as it comes.
If it is indeed legitimate, it’s hard to understate just how insane this feat is. We don’t know how many people may be able to do this, and it’s only week one, but I mean, I am really trying to wrap my head around this and how it’s even possible. I am in the midst of attempting to contact Xeneris to learn more, but from the publicly available data we know that:His primary was Adept Warden’s Law paired with Lucky PantsHowever, this likely only tells part of the story, as in an activity like this, and with Destiny’s ability to now swap around loadouts with ease, he likely flipped between builds for different situations, or almost certainly for bosses. That one with Gjally sounds like a boss loadout to me, but it’s not clear.
