She continued her studies at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she pursued a double major in Theatre Performance and Music. During her college journey, Janey also partook in the Disney College Program, where she had the opportunity to enroll in Disney's Entertainment Show Production Seminar.
After college, Janey studied at the London Academy for Music and Dramatic Arts before finally landing in her current home: Chicago, Illinois.
