Nigerian singer Kelechi Austin Miles, aka Tekno, has debunked reports that he received royalties worth N1 billion from his collaborative song with his colleague, Kizz Daniel, 'Buga'. A blog, Budget TV, had claimed on X that Tekno disclosed to them that Kizz Daniel sends him 50 per cent of 'Buga' revenues every month. They went on to claim that he stated that he had received close to a billion Naira from Kizz Daniel as royalties for the song.
Wanted to be silent about this but I think some levels of gratitude deserve to be spoken of. Do y’all know Kizz Daniel sends me 50% of every revenue he generates from that song ? After his buga tour he sent me close to a Billion Naira and I was already shocked enough by that move. He didn’t end just there.
