Strictly star breaks silence on co-star's 'love' confession

BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Johannes Radebe has opened up about his special connection with former dance partner John Whaite. The pair made history on the show in 2021 as its first male same-sex couple.

"He lifted me like I was a piece of feather. I'm a well built man and I've always lifted women and I know the level of care that goes into that", Johannes shared. This revelation comes after John Whaite admitted earlier in 2023 to The Times that he had developed strong feelings for Johannes during their stint on Strictly, despite being engaged to his partner Paul Atkins at the time, reports the Manchester Evening News.
