It's been revealed that the popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles story The Last Ronin is being turned into an R-rated live-action movie.

with Walter Hamada set to produce the film through 18hz. The script for the movie is being written by Tyler Burton Smith, who previously wrote 2019’s Child’s Play and the forthcoming action movie Boy Kills World.

“Who is the Last Ronin? In a future, battle-ravaged New York City, a lone surviving Turtle embarks on a seemingly hopeless mission seeking justice for the family he lost,” reads‘s synopsis.
