Sunrise hosts Matt Shirvington and Nat Barr have paid a tearful tribute to their “adored team member” Nathan Templeton, who died in Victoria. The 44-year-old was walking his dog near the Barwon River on Monday night when he suffered a medical episode. “It’s been a tough few days for the Sunrise family ... with the loss of one of our adored team members, Nathan Templeton, or ‘Tempo’ as he was known to all of us,” Nat said, through tears.
“The tragic news of Nathan’s passing has left us all at Seven profoundly saddened,” Seven Melbourne managing director Lewis Martin said in an email to staff on Wednesday. “Nathan was a respected journalist whose passion for storytelling was evident in all his years reporting for Sunrise, 7NEWS and multiple Olympic Games.
