Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips has split from his girlfriend of three years, Lindsay Wallace, after their relationship “ran its course”. Phillips, 46, who was affectionately considered to be the late Queen Elizabeth’s favourite grandchild, began dating Wallace in 2021. He was previously married to Autumn Kelly from 2008 to 2020. They have two children, Savannah, 13, and Isla, 12. Wallace was a classmate of Phillips’ sister Zara Tindall, 42, at Gordonstoun School according to The Sun.

Royal insiders have long said Peter — who is 18th in line to the throne — was the Queen’s “favourite” grandson. Although part of the British royal family, Phillips and his sister have never carried out royal duties. In 1977, when Phillips was born, Princess Anne is believed to have rejected the Queen’s offer of titles for her offspring. “He was born plain Master Phillips because, in spite of being the Queen’s daughter, Princess Anne possesses no hereditary title,” according to a BBC archive.
